Return of Goods Within 14 Days (Withdrawal from the Contract)

In short If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. It is sufficient to notify us of your withdrawal within this period and then return the goods within 14 days.

2. Withdrawal period and how it is calculated

The 14-day period starts on the day you receive the goods (in the case of multiple items, from the day the last item is received).
To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the withdrawal notice before the period expires (by e-mail or by post).

3. How to withdraw – simple steps

Notify us of your withdrawal – by e-mail to info@hhc-store.cz or by post. Please include your order number, purchase date, contact details and the goods you are returning.
You may also use our “Withdrawal Form” (appendix to the Terms and Conditions), but this is not mandatory.
Send the goods back without undue delay, no later than 14 days from the date of withdrawal, to the address stated above.
Enclose your order number and contact details; if possible, return the goods in their original packaging (not mandatory, but it helps protect the goods during transport).

4. Condition of the goods and liability for diminished value

You may inspect the goods in the same way as you would in a physical store. However, you are responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics. Any such reduction in value may be deducted from the refunded amount.

5. Who bears the return shipping costs?

The costs of returning the goods are borne by you (the consumer), unless we agree otherwise. In the event of withdrawal, we will also refund the delivery costs to you, but only up to the amount of the cheapest delivery option offered.

6. When and how we will refund your money

We will refund all received payments within 14 days of the effective withdrawal, using the same payment method, unless we agree otherwise.
We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or until you provide proof that the goods have been sent.

7. Exceptions where withdrawal is not possible (§ 1837 Civil Code)

The right of withdrawal within 14 days does not apply in particular to:

goods made to order or according to your specific requirements,
goods subject to rapid deterioration or mixed inseparably with other goods,
goods in sealed packaging which were opened after delivery for hygienic reasons,
audio/video recordings and computer software with broken seals,
newspapers, periodicals and magazines,
digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, if provided with your prior consent before the withdrawal period expired.

8. Consumers vs. business customers

The right to withdraw within 14 days applies to consumers (purchases outside a business activity). For purchases made as a business (with company or VAT ID), the right of withdrawal does not apply, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
